About Me

Family and Consumer Science course is designed to help middle school students to manage the challenges of living and working in a complex society.  They learn to improve their quality of life as they begin to cope with a world that is constantly changing.  The course prepares young adolescents to meet their present and future responsibilities as family members, community members, consumers, and wage earners.  They learn to make wise decisions, solve problems, manage resources, and interact with others in family and employment situations.
